POTS

Best for organizations that still need traditional landlines for specific functions.

Some functions (elevator lines, fire alarm systems, fax machines, security panels) still require a traditional landline connection. EM3 provides POTS services for organizations that need to maintain these alongside a modern VoIP system, all managed through a single provider.

E-Rate, RHC & voice services

Voice services, including VoIP, are not currently eligible for E-Rate funding. The FCC removed voice telephony from the E-Rate program in 2015. However, your VoIP system runs over your internet connection, which is E-Rate eligible, meaning the connectivity that makes your phone system work may be substantially funded even if the voice service itself is not. For rural healthcare facilities, certain voice and telephony services may be eligible under the USAC Rural Health Care Program. Speak to our funding team to understand what applies to your situation.
